Episcopal Relief & Development:

St. John’s supports Episcopal Relief & Development, the national outreach ministry of The Episcopal Church. Coordinators work in the Diocese to support their goals and programs, and to raise money and awareness about needs around the world.

The Episcopal Church has committed itself to working towards achieving the following Millennium Development Goals

1) Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger

2) Achieve universal primary education

3) Promote gender equality and empower women

4) Reduce child mortality

6) Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria, and other diseases

7) Ensure environmental sustainability

8) Develop a global partnership for development.
